We understand the importance of getting children / young people into education and supporting them to remain engaged.

In our homes, we may consider placements for children / young people with special needs, such as autism and or learning needs, if their needs can be met alongside those already placed in the home.

A plan for the child / young person to be in school or alternative education must be agreed at a child young person’s Placement Planning Meeting, and we will support the child / young person’s attendance and achievement with this. Support includes transport to and from school, help with homework and computer access with appropriate supervision as required

Staff will support the young person by monitoring and reviewing their personal educational plans and attending all relevant meetings.
